Follow up the progress of work at the sites with the project team on a weekly basis, and ensures that the workflow running accordingly to the approved schedule plan in full compliance with the plans of safety and quality controls.Prepare reports on a regular basis (weekly / monthly), regarding the performance of the project compared to set standards.Managing relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.Decide on subcontractors’ selection and negotiate terms and conditions in the agreement and execution phases in order to keep effective relationship management with external providers.Manage and monitor the schedule baseline considering the engineering, procurement, financial and construction activities in order to maintain the progress and accomplish projects’ targets.Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports to maintain up to date project information.Manage variation proposals and drawings, and study inventory and initiate change requests when necessary in response to meeting the clients’ requests.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Ensuring the implementation of safety and hygiene provisions in the workplace
  • Supervising and managing the civil subcontractors
  • Making sure that the construction standards and the contractual requirements are followed

  • Ensuring the compliance of the construction time with project schedule
  • Monitoring and reporting the progress of site activities while managing all relations at Sie with representative of customer, Subcontractors and local authorities.

  • What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Civil engineer graduated from reputable engineering faculty with minimum grade good
  • 7+ years of experience of working in civil construction out of 3+ years’ experience in civil design
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in contracting company / organization.
  • Have a proofed environmental health and safety EHS training not less than 50 hours
  • Not more than 40 years old
  • Experienced in dealing with public governmental sector
  • Demonstrated experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules, and vendors/subcontractors.
  • English – negotiation level required
  • Experience using Microsoft office applications
  • Have a valid driving license
  • Ability to travel locally, work on site and towards tight deadlines
